ACORD South Sudan Area Program Manager The South Sudan Program Manager will be based in Juba but is expected to regularly visit all project locations and sites in the south Sudan Job Summary To represent ACORD and its interests in its dealings with government, international and local organizations, networks and Medias in South Sudan and contribute towards consolidating and raising the profile of ACORD among these organizations. Policy Management- To keep updated an ACORD South Sudan country strategy that is relevant to the changing circumstances in the country and region and ensures that it is in line with the ACORD global strategic direction Programming Support-To monitor and support existing programmes through visits and in negotiation with Project Coordinators participation in programme reviews/internal evaluations and facilitation of external evaluations. Also to ensure that follow up discussion and planning is taking place within programmes Funding- To undertake local fundraising on behalf of programmes Financial Management-To monitor preparation and delivery of budgets in accordance with agreed formats, to budget ceilings and to an agreed timetable Human Resources Management- Ensure that comprehensive human resources management policies are in place in accordance with the global human resources management manual and the South Sudan labour laws; Information and communication-Ensure that all external communication are made to reflect the objectives and interest of the organization For the details of the job description, please click here.
