ACORD
Global
Programme has four components including
Area
Programme
Development,
Thematic Programme, Social Action Programme and
Organizational Development.
All these
components facilitate the process of transforming ACORD to be an
important actor for social justice in Africa.
ACORD
mission is about working in common cause with people, who are
poor and those who are excluded and to understand, challenge and
change those conditions. We strengthen this by working in alliance
with organizations worldwide to achieve our mission.
ACORD
Programme's overall objective is ‘’to bring about
social justice and rights based development in Africa
through support to the development of social movement’’.
These strategic guides are based on ACORD’s analysis of
the implication of globalization on Africa, the changing
institutional landscape and the understanding of the
whole idea of development.

programmes work beyond national borders where necessary, which are
self-managed and combining practical activities with research /
critical analysis and social action and seeking changes in particular
geographic area. |
